but i dont think that just because someone asks for "moderator" status does not mean it should just be given, especially when he/she has posted in the forum asking for it.

if its in private that is a different story.. but i believe it should just be given to you, asking seems kind of silly and it should be given on the basis of who is benificiary to this forum./.. like i said no offence to elton...

but i do not believe this is the proper way to go about things and may start a nice little trend of people posting close to the same things and expecting it. then you have a forum full of moderators and things get messy

noone's an expert dan just ned a willingness to learn and help, I don't feel like I can always help and I've rebuilt my car from the ground up more then once I know every fucking bolt on the thing.
Does that make me more qualified then anyone else? NO. Elton starts great threads that gets answers to questions other people may have had as well I've seen quite a few of his threads get pretty big and stay on topic.
