I took this picture in the early 90's at the food mart biuldings at the PNE. Can't remember if the car was a 89 or 90 but it was a redressed players car.

Neat.

Looking at the roll cage and how it goes through the front dash leads me to suspect a players car. I wonder if it was/is?

Good eye! I had one of those on mine many years ago, Mine fell of with in a few days ,with a little bit of help.I tried to find some more picts that i had of that car , but the wife has pulled them out of the albums and put in other picts :ohboy:

Cool pictures. If we knew then what we know now ... could have had lots of rare cars for not much. I recall ex-race cars selling for quite a bit less than retail. Heck I test drove one ... 1989 I recall. Shoulda woulda coulda.

Ah yes.. That is John's 1988 Camaro 1LE Player's Challenge.

I have a selection of pics of his car from the Royal Show and shine. We were parked all in line.

i love flag!! my uncle works there and i used to get all my inspections done there... i wonder if i can snag a copy of photos from old sponsored cars they had...

what was their involvement? did they just sponsor alot of cars?

From the imformation that i have found , mostly from Mark -zz3 that Flag had 5 cars the #1,#11,#24,#39 and the#88. I have narrowed that mine is either the# 1 car or the# 88 car, Most likely the #88 but trying to verafy is really the problem.

It would be nice to think so, I believe that these pictures were taken after 1991 at two diffrent shows, and at that time I already had my car.
