I've got a friend who has an '06 GMC Sierra SLT 4x4.
The truck has rear drum brakes, which I find odd because its a fully loaded truck (leather, sunroof, DVD player, etc). He has a mental problem with the drums and he wants to convert to disc brakes. I have looked EVERYWHERE for info on changeover parts. I would think that the disc components offered for that year should just bolt on... in fact im confident they will bolt on, the problem Im having is the funcionality of them. Does anyone know if any other changes woulf be needed for this swap? apperantly these trucks use an electronic proportioning valve to adjust rear brake bias, so that shouldn't be a problem. Anyone who has some info on this would be a big help.
